——淳化小学英语教研组举办2024-2025学年第一学期第3次活动


2024109日,淳化小学英语教研组的第三次活动在录播教室开展。胡子璇老师执教五上第五单元《Unit 5 What do they do?》的story板块。整节课环节紧扣,对于细节处理到位,同时课堂氛围活跃,学生积极参与课堂活动,学生的学习兴趣得到了有效激发。通过了解MikeSu Hai父母的职业,能够利用所学知识引申到自身,谈论父母职业,从而体会到Every job is great的主题意义。

活动目标

  1. 1.学生能够理解本课story的故事内容。

  2. 学生能够运用本单元的句型,进行简单的操练。

  3. 依托情境,将主题意义升华,助力学生对故事的理解,促进学生语言思维的发展,提高课堂教学质量。

一、胡子璇老师说课

本单元第一课时主要围绕职业、父母职业进行交流。课前通过播放与职业相关的英文歌曲,成功营造了轻松的学习氛围,并有效复习了已学的职业词汇,为新课的学习打下了良好的基础。利用多媒体课件展示职业图片以及相关描述,引导学生猜测并学习新词汇,这一环节有效激发了学生的学习兴趣。随后,通过播放Story time动画,让学生整体感知对话内容,为后续的细节理解打下了基础。在练习环节,通过角色扮演和小组讨论,学生积极参与,口语表达能力得到了锻炼。

二、全体教师评课

1. 傅文媛本节课教学设计难易得当,环环相扣,层层递进。教师注重细节知识的把握,问题由浅入深。在课文处理之后,对职业话题可做适当拓展。

2. 陈静教师课件制作精美,环节衔接流畅。教学过程清晰且富有节奏,小组活动规范。教师借助多媒体组织教学,课件简洁实用,教学方法多样,运用恰当。整节课上学生自主生成的内容不算多,可以多一些思考,引导学生进行拓展表达。

Unit5 What do they do? Story time

一、教学目标:

1.理解、掌握对话内容,能用正确的语音语调朗读对话,并初步表演对话。

2.能正确运用日常交际用语:What does he/she do? He/She is a teacher/ worker/factory/writer.

3.能听懂、会说、会读单词:writer,at home,sick,people,factory,cook,driver,farmer,policeman.

二、教学重难点:

1.  能正确理解对话内容,朗读对话,初步表演对话。

2.能听懂、会说、会读单词:writer,at home,sick,people,factory,cook,driver,farmer,policeman.

三、教学过程:

(一)     Pre-reading

1.Enjoy a song

T:Boys and girls, let’s enjoy a song first. So what is the song about? Yes, it’s about jobs. In the song, people do different jobs.

2.Presentation

Now let’s play a guessing game. Try to guess their jobs in the elevator and I will give you some hints.

The first one: He helps us and catches bad people. What does he do?

S:He is a policeman. 教授policeman

The second one: She is nice and clever. She teaches us new things. What does she do

S: She is a teacher. 教授 teacher

Next one: He works on the farm. He grows vegetables and raise animals. What does he do

S: He is a farmer. 教授 farmer

The last one: He wears a white uniform. He helps sick people. Look at this picture. The people are ill. We call them sick people. 教授sick people  What does he do

S: He is a doctor. 教授 doctor

T:Well, we can name some jobs. Now let’s know more about jobs. I will show you some pictures about the jobs. And you need to say them out loud. 教授worker, driver, cook, nurse, writer

2.  work in pairs

Well, now let’s have a dialogue with our classmates. Two students come to the front and one student chooses one certificate and clicks the screen. Then, you can talk about his/her job.

(二)     While-reading

1.T:Well,our friends Mike and Su Hai also talk about jobs. Look at Su Hai, she holds a family photo. Whose family photo is it? Yes, it’s Mike’s family photo. And they talk about Mike’s parents’ jobs. Now let’s watch the cartoon and find what their jobs are.

T: What does Mike’s father do?

S: He is a teacher.

T: What does he teach? Let’s listen to the audio.

S:He teaches English.

T:Yes, you’re right. He teaches English. He has a lot of students. Here “a lot of” means “many”.

T: What about Mike’s mother? What does she do?
S: She is a writer.

T: What does she write? Lets listen.

S: She writes stories.

2.Now, we have known about Mike’s parents’ jobs. What about Su Hai’s parents. Let’s read Picture 2 and find answers.

T: What does Su Hai’s father do?

S: He is a doctor.

T: What about Su Hai’s mother? What does she do?
S: She is a factory worker.

T:What does “factory” mean? Now, look at the picture. This is a factory. 教授 factory

T:The last question, What does Su Hai’s mother make?

S: She makes sweets.

T: Yes,so Su Hai’s mother works in a sweet factory, right?

(三)     Post-reading

  1. Read and imiate

T: This time,let’s read after tape and try to imitate the pronunciation and intonation.

2.Show time

T: Now you can choose one picture and choose one way to read or act.

3.  Let’s fill in the blanks

Now let’s turn to page 50 and try to fill in blanks

4.  Enjoy a video

We know that there are thousands of jobs in the world. And people devote themselves to their jobs. Now let’s watch a video about that.

In the video, we can see these people are quite hard-working and they are glorious labors. So labor is the most glorious. Every job deserves respect.

5.  Homework

1.Talk about your parents’ jobs with your friends.

2.Preview Grammar time.

这节课总体较为流畅,环节紧扣,对于相关细节的把控比较到位,学生积极参与课堂活动,口语表达能力得到了锻炼,同时课堂氛围活跃,学生的学习兴趣得到了有效激发。

一、本节课仍有一下几点不足

1时间把握不到位,进程太快;

2有的环节有些重复可以适当删减;

3部分学生在汇报环节表达能力有待提高

4拓展内容应该更贴近主题,可以与课文内容呼应,讨论到学生父母的职业。

二、针对这些问题我有以下改进措施:

1调整教学时间分配,确保每个环节都能得到充分的展开和练习。

2加强对学生口语表达能力的训练和指导。可以通过更多的角色扮演、小组讨论等活动,提高学生的口语表达能力。

3鼓励学生之间进行作业互评,促进相互学习和进步。

本次教学在整体上取得了良好的效果,但也存在一些问题和不足。在未来的教学中,我将继续优化教学策略,加强对学生口语表达能力和作业完成情况的关注和指导,努力提升学生的学习效果。同时,我也将不断反思和总结自己的教学实践,不断提高自己的教学水平。

活动总结

本次教研活动,胡子璇老师精心准备了课件和教案,给我们带来了一场精彩的英语课。本节课上,胡老师注重学生基础的教授,运用游戏的方式,带领学生学习本课新词,学生在轻松的氛围中学习新知。学生在课堂上学的扎实,最后的retell环节,表达流畅,思路清晰。本次教研活动通过教材分析与讨论,让教师们对教材的理解更加深入,能够更好地把握教学重点和难点,也让教师们认识到了备课的重要性,提高了他们的备课技能。相信在老师们的共同努力下,我们的专业素养定会得到显著提升,课堂教学质量也会稳步提升。
